浜揚げシーズンを迎えるオーストラリアの真珠養殖場。

浜揚げ(真珠収穫)シーズンを迎えるのはオーストラリアのニュージャージー州エリザベス湾にある養殖場です。8月から10月が浜揚げシーズン

記事によれば、Autore Groupがエリザベス湾にあるEllies Pearls社を買収したのは去年10月。

はオーストラリアで第二の真珠養殖会社で、インドネシアにロンボク・スンバワ・西ジャワと8つの養殖場を持っているとのこと。

同社CEOによれば、規模の経営が成功の鍵なんだとか。勢いがあるなあ。

Autore Pearls bringing shine back to remote Arnhem Land farm

It is harvest time at one of Australia's most remote pearl farms and its new owners are excited by what they see.

The pearling leases at Elizabeth Bay, about 40 kilometres north-west of Nhulunbuy in Arnhem Land, were bought by the Autore Group in October last year.

The acquisition included 140,000 seeded oyster shells and 40,000 juvenile unseeded oysters, as well as various pieces of infrastructure such as farm accommodation and a hatchery.
